Experience a hunting adventure unlike any other.

Hunt for unique species during your stay, including Axis deer and Mouflon sheep. The 90,000-acre island of Lana’i is home to the highest density of free-range Axis deer in the world. Hunters can expect to see hundreds of deer per day, and will spot and stalk either in a large, flat plain known locally as “the Serengeti,” or in the steep mountainous region that is heavily forested along the shores. Alternatively, for long range shooters, hunters can opt to set up at shooting benches strategically positioned throughout the island.

Unlike international destinations, it is easy to transport your personal firearms to this exotic domestic destination.

Lana’i is also home to a world-class sporting clays course as well as archery, pistol, and rifle ranges. The sporting clays course is extremely picturesque, and can be enjoyed by beginner and expert shooters alike. ​

One of the big challenges when hunting axis deer is not necessarily finding the deer that you want, it’s getting past the hundreds of other deer that are between you and that animal.
