Travel

Just nine miles off the coast of Maui, Lana’i is a short trip from both Honolulu International Airport and Kahului Airport in Maui.

Lana’i Air

Offering luxury air service, Lana’i Air flights provide the fastest connection to Lana’i, and are customized to each guest’s arrival time. Ten Pilatus PC-12 jets boast modern, elegant interiors engineered for comfort. Reserve seats for your party or charter the entire aircraft for up to eight passengers. Lana’i Air is a luxurious and convenient way to begin your island adventure.

‘Ohana Air

‘Ohana by Hawaiian offers five-times daily service from Honolulu International Airport to Lana’i Airport throughout the day.

Expeditions Ferry

For those flying into Maui, the Expeditions passenger ferry provides daily service between Lahaina, Maui, and the Manele Small Boat Harbor on Lana’i. Five round-trip ferries provide a scenic 45-minute ride throughout the day.

Car Rentals

Only 30 of the island’s 400 miles of road are paved, so if you plan to explore the island’s remote shores or forested summit, you’ll need a four-wheel drive vehicle. There are car rental options on Lana’i, and guests of the Four Seasons Resort Lana’i can select a vehicle from their rental fleet.

Hotel Shuttles

There is scheduled shuttle service available between Lana‘i Airport, the ferry terminal at Manele Bay, the Four Seasons Resort Lana‘i, and the Sensei Lana’i. An inter-hotel shuttle, for Four Seasons guests, runs every half-hour between the two resorts, stopping on the way at Hotel Lana‘i in Lana‘i City.
